The E2BNA Group is constituted by members of the Department of Physical and Analytical Chemistry (area of Analytical Chemistry) of the University of Oviedo and are part of it: 2 Full Professors (Rosario Pereiro and Maria Teresa Fernández Abedul), 2 Associated Professors (Beatriz Fernández and Lara Lobo Revilla), 1 "Distinguished Researcher Beatriz Galindo" (Estefanía Costa Rama) and doctoral studentsMarta Aranaz, Paula Menero, Ana Álvarez, Alejandro Rodríguez, Pablo Rioboó, Jaime Martínez and Marta Marina

The main OBJECTIVE of our Group is to contribute to solving scientific and technical problems and challenges of today's society, mainly in fields related to health (especially in active and healthy aging in areas such as ophthalmology, oncology or neurology) and new materials (e.g. synthesis of nanomaterials, bioconjugation of them and development of applications in analytical chemistry). For such purposes, a broad approach is required that is achieved with the with the different and complementary fields of specialization within the Analytical Chemistry of the two full professors of the group. In addition, the achievement of our objectives requires a great multidisciplinary effort and, therefore, our collaborations with medical doctors, biologists, engineers, etc. are common.
